Specially designed for use with ice machines, the Everpure 4SI 7 7SI water filters offer dirt reduction, scale protection and reduced slime, all in a single cartridge. This water filter is unique from other Everpure water filters; it does not remove chlorine - intentionally!
In certain applications, such as bakeries or any establishment that is baking bread and pastries, there is air borne yeast present. If you also have an ice maker, and that ice maker has a water filter on it (which is absolutely should) then you need a water filter that doesn't remove the chlorine from the water. If it does, then the absence of chlorine and the presence of yeast will cause slime build up inside the machine.
Everpure 4SI and 7SI water filters allow chlorine to pass into the ice machine. Not only does this address the slime problem but it also facilitates compliance with ASHRAE Standard 188 in hospital and healthcare facilities.
The SI family of water filters are third party tested and certified by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF). This means that the claims that Everpure makes regarding performance and capacity have been tested and certified to be true. This provides you with peace of mind that what you are buying will deliver on its promise of quality. The most important standard is #53 for cyst reduction.

DAMAGED, LOST SHIPMENTS:
Before Shipping any products we do check the condition of product ordered. However the products that are fragile can still be damaged or broken during shipping or transit. The courier service we use or any third party couriers do not accept the responsibility of damaged fragile items or component during the transit if the products involves the glass component or is completely made of glass.
