By identifying issues before they become an emergency, you can ensure that your ice system is up and running when you need it the most. Operators can scan the QR code to get an instant connection to warranty history and servicing information.
The Scotsman C0530MA-1 Prodigy Plus® ice machine head can make 525 pounds of ice in 24 hours. It makes full-cube ice, which measures 0.875 inch by 0.875 inch by 0.875 inch. Since this ice type is large and slow melting, it is perfect for drinks in bars. This unit is air cooled, using fans to blow cold air over the condenser and cool the refrigerant in the tubes so it can freeze water in the evaporator plate.
Because the Scotsman C0530MA-1 ice maker has a button that starts the cleaning process, maintaining the unit is simple and user-friendly. An antimicrobial agent is built into the internal components to protect them from scale, mold, and bacteria between cleanings. To reduce scale buildup, the unit automatically adjusts the facility's water quality. Users can access the interior behind a removable front panel that self-aligns into position.
